'VINTAGE SHOPPING BASKET' ON PLYWOOD
Wire Shopping baskets are so evocative for me. They talk about my childhood, shopping with my mum and being desperate to hold the basket myself!
This is an A3-sized original drawing, made in acrylic paint directly onto Plywood. There is lots of natural grain and mark-making, particularly around the edges which I have curved with a jigsaw myself.
'Vintage Shopping Basket' is A3 (29.7 x 42.0 cm) and plywood is perfect for propping on a shelf, or can be hung on the wall using the fixings on the reverse.
