An Immersive Two Day PAINTING ART Workshop with Sam on Thursday 24th & Friday 25th April
Prompted by requests, I am delighted to offer a TWO-DAY IMMERSIVE DRAWING & PAINTING WORKSHOP in my studio in Suffolk.
I often get asked if I offer classes and workshops. I do, but these are irregular and pop-up in nature, often lasting only one or two hours - and more online than in person. Working around my art practice
I’m offering only T H R E E SPACES per workshop, ensuring we have plenty of time to work 1:1, - time for you to work alone, and time for the natural support of two other participants working alongside you.
Pre-workshop we will have a meeting, (online) for me to gain a clear understanding of what you would most like to learn from me and discuss any blocks that might be currently holding you back.
Our two days will be spent
THIS COURSE IS FOR YOU if:
You would like to kick start something new that you have been putting off for fear of ‘getting it wrong’ or ‘doing it badly’
You are keen to develop your painting skills in oil or acrylic paint
You might like to make artwork to sell in the future
You are willing to happy to move forward in a swift and supported way.
This course is not for you if:
You are not ready to try new things.
Don’t like working in a small group.
About My Studio
My workspace is in a secluded secret garden, attached to our home. The garden space is lovely, but uneven with graveled paths.
It’s important to note that toilet facilities are in our home, at the bottom of the garden, some two paths and six steps down - and then back up to return to the studio. Sadly it’s not wheelchair friendly.
Depending on the weather, working outside of the studio can be a lovely option, if it’s cold and rainy we will work inside on desks and/or easels.
Insurance. Although I have Public Liability Insurance, I can’t insure against the unlikely event of any mishaps that might happen in our home garden. Please make sure you are aware of this before signing up/checking out.
Risk assessments will have taken place prior to our event and I am happy to say that I have run many successful workshops and events here in the past.
Art Materials
I encourage you to bring along art materials that you already have and are comfortable using. The workshop cost includes a £40 budget (per participant) for art materials that we will use over our two days together.
Lunch
A homemade light lunch and refreshments are provided throughout both days.
Workshop Dates & Times
THURSDAY 24th & FRIDAY 25th APRIL
10am - 4pm on both days. (you can work a little later in my studio if you wish to)
Booking Terms
As there are only 3 spaces per workshop, it’s hard to organise a refund should you not be able to make the dates. I can’t guarantee finding a replacement, though I will try.
Therefore, your deposit of £150 (which is included in the full fee you are paying here) is non-refundable up to 5 weeks before the workshop.
The full balance becomes non-refundable after the 5-week point, prior to the workshop commencing
