This painting has taken it’s time in the making. I’ve worked and reworked it many times using lashings of paint on canvas.
It is a big work at 100 x 100cm on a 4cm deep box canvas. Ripe and ready to shine on any wall you choose (or to prop, I do love a propped canvas on a shelf or even floor).
It’s subject is an arrangement on flowers. Lovely blousy roses, along with string drops of leaves and carefully selected twigs. Flourish has been made to impress and warm any room in your home. Lots of impasto mark-making here too.
