I adore Lavender and have many of these beautifully scented plant around my home, particularly around the entrance. Great for the bees and our own wellbeing - and besides all of that they are UTTERLY beautiful.
I wanted to make a study of these flowers and began small with this painting, then mid-size (which is here) and then here onto this large painting which is 100 x 100cm painting.
