'Lavender Bed' Handpressed Drypoint Drawing

Outside the front of our home we have about 8 Lavender plants, Vera Lavender. Year on year they have grown and smell divine.

At the end of the summer, come the turn of the season, I cut the flowers back to enhance next year’s growth. This year I have gathered them all up into a suitcase and will be sending them out with parcels that I send throughout the year.

I love them.

These were drawn when the plants were at full height and covered with happy bees doing their precious work.

This is a drypoint print, made by me on my press in my studio. Each print is 40 x 40cm, hand signed, titled, yearly dated, and numbered.
