Freesias symbolise: innocence and purity

Freesias are my all time favourite flower.

Often given as gifts to new parents, these flowers remind me of those precious times of having our (then) tiny babies!

Having a bunch of Freesias positioned next to my bed means rest to me. Waking early in the morning to their unique and beautiful scent is one of life’s gifts. Try it.

This painting is a feel of these flowers, mixed with some Olive Leaves that I had in my studio at the time.

It is a large painting at 100 x 100cm on a deep box canvas.
