This is one of the biggest paintings I’ve ever made, and perhaps contemporary too.
It shows a beautiful bunch of dahlias I was given, early - early in the morning. Just as the sun is peeping through, when you get to see the outline but not the colour, the shapes but not the detail.
It is painted in acrylic and on canvas.
It is 150cm x 100cm, signed, titled and yearly dated.
