Well, having set myself the project of painting ‘A Dog A Day’ I am both SUPER busy - and super happy.

This is proving to be such a beautiful thing.

I started it to get my dog-painting chops up and my wonderful clients haven’t let me down. I wrote to everyone telling them that I was going to be doing this and invited people to send me photographs of their dogs. Making sure to say that I wouldn’t be able to paint everyone’s but I’d give it a damn good try over this coming month.

These are not dog-portraits paintings per se, they are little dog study paintings of a whole manner of breeds.

I am SO enjoying myself and have realised how much I have missed painting my four-legged friends over the past year or two.

If you would like to send me photographs of your dog, please do. As I say, I can’t promise but you will be the first to know if I do. There is no pressure to purchase, just an invite of first dibs before adding to my Daily Dog Page. All dogs are welcome.

Painting details: Each is 25 x 25cm, Oil Painting on Board, with Acrylic Backgrounds. Prices range from £75-£90 and I even have a framing option too for a further £45 each. Postage for each dog is £5 within the UK. Overseas postage can be arranged.

One little note is that due to the s l o w process of drying time for oil paint, there will be a slight lag before sending to you after purchasing - but I promise that all dogs will be home in time for the big 25th December.
